I'd buy one. Personally I'd prefer a full zip, but either is fine. Race cut is preferable, but I do understand if there's a demand for a lose fit one. The colours and design sounds good.

Don't know if I'm
the right person to reply to this, but as always I'm wary about the weight here. 3.3kg for the frame, and it's built for 140mm front and rear, which means that unless you spend a load of cash you'll end up with a quite heavy bike. If that's not a problem then go for it, Commencal make great frames and I've only heard good things about the Meta 5.5
One thing to consider ...

On my roadie: speedplay zeros. Easy/quick to clip in and out of, lots of versatility in setting the amount of float and position of cleats, just feel comfortable and stable to me. However, I wish they didn't get gunked up so easily.
I just use
toe clips on my 'bout town beater fixie so I can wear normal shoes.
Maybe someone can tell me whether spd are okay for 'cross? I have a ...

The most important thing is fit, so I would say go for that above anything else. Go to a good shop that will focus on that first and has a clue about setting you up for the aero position and then listen to what they say. Don't get too caught up in frame material or brand (unless there is something you really want, umm, just cuz you want it! ). The biggest benefit of a TT frame is allowing ...

Take the smallest one you need to lock the bike properly. Properly here means that you should include a solid stationary object in the 'loop' as well. When it comes to bike theft all you can do is avoid the
spontaneous thieves, if someone want to steal your bike they will no matter how many locks you have.

Cable or
hydraulic ?
I've got no experience with cable discs.
If it's hydraulic, can you move the lever at all or is it solid ?
I had trouble with the pistons sticking on mine once. It made the brake drag a bit, but I wouldn't expect that to lock a brake up completely.
Are the pads definitely sitting in place properly ? Is it possible one of them has moved and got jammed ? ...

I mean, it comes in a squeeze bottle, is relatively inexpensive, is all low-glycemic sugar, and tastes a hell of a lot better than any gel out there right now. Seems to be stable at warm temperatures, too. True, no caffeine, carnitine, or electrolytes (a minute amount of potassium), but you could get that from some Hammer powder in your
water bottle. Has anyone ever considered this? I swigged ...
