I don't buy alcohol often but i'm pretty sure i've been asked for ID in supermarkets every single time. I always carry my photo driving licence so in a way I quite like it. I remember the first time in tescos on my 18th birthday. (i looked about 10 then!) they called the manager over and he spent a good 20 seconds staring at my card before wishing me a happy birthday.

I know a lad who's leaving his mechanics post once qualified in June/July. If i'm still no further forward by that time, i may consider seeing his boss & asking for a position. I've no knowledge whatsoever on the topic, but i've interest, so we'll see. Thats an American thing doctored to UK, Ive seen it before. Highways Department = Council Deer crossing? Beware of deer triangle signs. I went to my mates to collect him for a night out. He was having his tea and it was too hot to rush. His Mum said "pop it in the microwave on defrost to cool it down" She isnt the sharpest spoon in the drawer

Under the ACAS guidlines, you are entitled to a hearing time and date that suits you, ( within reason), eg you can't say 2012!
Your employer sounds like they are treading a thin line when it comes to how they act
in disciplinary situations.
You should be invited, by letter, with a time and date of the hearing. You have the right to representation, through a union (that you area member of) ...
