Yes, the PCIIIusb can raise the rev limit on your Road King without the reflash. If you repost the map I sent you I can take a look at the righ rpm fuel. I cannot remember what map I sent you. With stock cams it is not unusal for the bike to "run out of steam" at higher rpm.

The other issue is the response time of a wide band 02 when there is a large shift in temperature in the exhaust system. Like a trasition from cruise to WOT and not being able to see the lean spot caused by a poorly tuned AE. The wide band sensors will blow the readings and the autotune may adjust to this incorrect reading. The same thing happens on a sudden drop in exhaust temp chopping the throttle. You are at the mercy of the tallent of...

Thanks for the responses. I have tried several cycles of new map, clear offsets, initialize now all with the same result. lean front rich rear at low tps. If I had a dead sensor I would assume it would give dud readings with autotune on or off, same for exhaust or intake leak. I monitored a startup with autotune on and it tuned the bike to crap...turn auto off and nice steady afrs. Latest firmware done and stock 5/20 learn rate. cheers Surly

Yes and no, the cable from the computer to interface is a common USB printer cable, so no on this one, but the cable from the interface to the bike is the same, so yes. I have an 07 FXST with SE103 kit, Andrews 54H cam and a V&H Big Radius 2 into 1 pipe. I had previously run it with the stock headers and quiet SE mufflers and it was running sweetly and appeared to be tuning itself nicely. After switching to the 2 into 1 pipes it appears to be adding more fuel to the front cylinder and trimming the back cylinder by as much as 50% in the light cruise ...

Yes I wanted my rev-limit raised. The bike does still run good at normal cruise speed and idle. I does seem however to run out of steam or act like its holding back after about 5200 rpm. I did not know if I should have the map richened up from 5500-6200 rpm?? Some one told me that my power commander could have over ridden or raised the rev-limit and I did not need to have the stage one down load...

I have a custom tune map that I want to use on a new build for a different bike. The build will be identical to the one that I have the map for EXCEPT the prior bike had 8 degree injectors and this one has 25 degree injectors. I have a 99 road king with Monster Ovals and Stage 1 A/C. PCIII w/map from company I bought it from has a number of problems: Decel popping, popping between shifts and some strange idle rpm problems. Idle speed increases as bike gets hot. If I set idle speed when engine is hot, then it's too slow when cold. Al this goes away when PCIII is disconnected. PCIII is brand new and I reset the ...

My fuel mileage went in the dumper this last summer. Had been about 37, dropped to about 29. The only change was a switch to a Baker DD6 which should have helped me out a little in this area. My theory is that the new tranny put me into a different part of the map in all gears, especially 5th and 6th gear. The bike was tuned with a stock 5-speed. Could be the part of the map I'm in ...

I loaded the 807-005 map and seem to have lost power on the top end, especially when I roll on it. Other than this the map is ok. Could you recommend a solution to the problem. 2006 FLHTI Stage One Screaming Eagle air cleaner H-D slip-on's 65115 -98B Thanks for your time

Not sure where to post this, but since the dealer is saying it was a "hot" map that caused the problem, I'll start here. Running to work on the freeway this morning; started to lose power in 5th going up long grade; had to shift to 4th to keep revs & speed up. Seemed okay on the flat. Noticed smoke and looked down to see oil filler plug was gone (it was there earlier as I looked when ...
