You don't need to use tubes in a slick. I do run them in my M+H dots to try and give the side wall a little more support on the street. But in answer to your original post yes normal tubers will do.

hi mine are either 3/8" or 1/2" i'm using speedflow 400 seires fittings which are barbed and don't need jubilees, just warm the tube in hot water and push on, once cool, i've not had one leak yet,
not sure whether you have to use their hose to be leak free, as it's quite expensive, but i have some goodridge hose that fits and is much cheaper, haven't had chance to try it in anger yet.

I have one of these on my race car
http://www.vwspeedshop.com/product.p...9&cat=0&pag e=1
looks like it would clear a smaller 2 stage pump.
Havent had a proper measure up yet but has a lot more room around
that area than a merged header.

i was always led to belive that it helps reduce the heat to the heads when you remove the heat exchangers and replace with j tubes

I'm looking forward to pitting my crappy, heavy bumpers against you all, I'm also hoping to find more tat to hang on my car for the new season so I can keep my place as the slowest car in the club
Seriously though, well done Andy (& Jo ) you've made a cracking start.
