Ignition timing to far advanced, mixture too lean, low octane gasoline or a combination of them. Check the timing first.

Just pull the fuel pump relay and use the jumper to bridge the 30 and 87 terminals. Also when you turn the key on do you hear the frequency valve buzzing at all? Modified by EuroKid83 at 2:16 PM 11-29-2009

Can you give a little more detail on the rpm limiting setup? I assume that your MSD box is not controlling the RPM limits. How and what do you use to bypass the fuel pump relay..(fuel pump relay limits the stock rpms right?)

Thank's Steve. I'm already looking into it. The only other thing is with a one way check valve is, will it trap the boost signal in the warmup reg too?

Before discussing just how to go about doing either, I have to ask why? CIS w/Lambda tries to maintain a correct mixture from idle up to when you really floor it (WOT)(full throttle). When you do that the full throttle switch signals to the control unit to disregards the O2 information. If you convert to CIS basic or alter the Lambda system you will use more fuel during idle and part throttle ...

I have three 0438100116's and one 0438101005, but no 0438100061 in my supply of parts. Would the 043810100116 or 0438101005 work in place of the 0438100061? Oh, speaking with the local parts place, the guy stated that there are no seals on the push rod as it is machined to seal. Steve

not to be mean but if you are asking then it is better that you don't mess with it. it is somewhat of a complicated system that can get very confusing if your not savy to it.. best bet buy a bentley and do your homework first..

Won't work, the walbro can't output near enough pressure for extended periods of time. Get a pump from a CIS Rabbit, they're an inline pump with no housing. Why is this your only option?
