kinda offtopic but what does being 18 makes any difference? I saw a custom bike show, kid was 17 and had a custom chopper built from scratch by him in his dads bike junkyard. frame of the bike was welded HD chain. you can do anything you want if you decide to do it, ask for advice here, most people will be more than helpfull and you wil be succesfull. good luck with your project, wish I had the drive I used to so I can finish my projects....

having them painted beforehand for the same deal? 250 for a set thats shaved and painted would be a deal i can see tons of people hopping on. But then again i can see your point with not blending so it could turn out a shade off. GHL - AEM - TEIN - ATP - FORGE - VDO - NS - GIAC Vmaxx

I used Nufinish in the orange bottle cause this stuff works great. I used it on my old Jetta, the paint on it was really faded and didnt even shine at all. After i put that wax on the paint looked like it was brand new again.

I'm no paint or body work expert. but I feel i know enough so that i can shave the rub strips and maybe a few other things off my vr. But i was wondering, if me and my "crew" screw up, would the damage be "that" terrible? I'd appreciate some invoice on how to do something like that. So here's an easy one for you guys (hopefully). The door handle to my 97 Passat has gotten a little tricky the past couple weeks, and it just so happened that my safety/emissions is due and they won't pass my car if my door handle sticks. The Problem: The outside door handle works, but sometimes it doesn't release the latch all the way. When it does this, it makes a little clicking noise and ...

I recently got in a fender bender (old man rear ended me and pushed me into the next car) and so my bumpers got all scratched up so i decided to get them repainted. I was wondering what was involved in prepping mk4 valences for painting so i can get the shop to do it all at once for minimal cost.

I was planning on repainting my 1990 Audi 90Q because the paint is just GONE. i plan on doing it one section at a time, starting with the hood and fenders, then doing the inside (i.e. inner doors, jams, etc.), then the outer doors, roof and pillars, then going on the the back end, finishing with the bumpers. i was originally going to do a spray can job just to see how professional i could ...
