Spy photogs shooting for Car Magazine nabbed this Murcielago replacement mule testing near the Nurburgring and wearing plates registered to Audi's quattro GmbH. Word from CAR is that the car will replace the current steel chassis of the Murcielago for a carbon fiber tub with front and rear subframes. CAR also says there's an all-new 6.0-liter V12 on tap. With a mint 1984 Audi 4000 quattro in the Fourtitude garage, the above model jumped out at us when perusing the rows of scale model vendors at September's Paris Auto Show. The Essen Motor Show occurs at the end of this month, so it may be more than coincidence that these photos are beginning to surface. quattro GmbH and Audi Accessories will have a full display in Essen and no doubt this new Q5 off-road kit will likely be featured.
