Diagnosing sucks... but now that you're done, at least you can start moving forward. Yeah you're right. Now it's just a matter of time and money. I have to say though, I love driving the thing. It's slow as ****, brakes and handles like a wagon, and sounds awful (I'm not sure I mentioned...

Looks like a nice Jeep! Nice price also! Tint the windshield? I used to really dig tinted windows. Every car that I ever had had the windows tinted at one point or another. My old Jetta was 5% all around back in the day. My company car that I have now is tinted 35% all around and it looks pretty bad ass. The problem though is that the older I get the tougher it is to see what the heck is going on. Especially at night. My current Jeep...

I've heard some bad things lately with the Edge products... That was my original plan, but I'm getting Smarty thrown in my face! I really like not having a bunch of ***** gauges with the Attitude... As for the trans, I will do a VB for now and deal with the rest of it later. If I'm going to drop the trans again, I'm going all out! I can do a VB with the trans in the truck and call it good for now. And the silencer ring is...

Here are a few shots I took of the interior. As you can see from the pics she's really dirty, but I'm on vacation for a couple of weeks so I'll make sure to remedy that. This is the heater assembly as it sits in the passenger side foot well area. The two doors open in the front when you want to heat the cabin, close the doors and the air is directed up thru the two ports. There are tubes that are supposed to connect to the...

History of my Jeep Jab
Published (2009-12-15 01:14:00)
Well here is my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 6cyl, pretty stock. Got new tires for it right away, along with a new muffler. I had it for an entire 5 months through the winter and then the original engine that was in it threw a rod in March. That was a fun day b/c a week prior i had a full oil change and the guys told me that my engine was knocking a little but should be fine for some time. Boy were they wrong. Well i wasn't going to...

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!! Next on the list: Remove the turbo silencer ring and add an open intake. After the first time you hear it at full boost, you will jizz your pants. After that, Edge juice with attitude. Since they are rebuilding the tranny, toss over some extra cash for a suncoast or goerend torque converter and an upgraded valve body......unless you wanna drop the tranny again.

Cylinder #4 misfire code
Published (2009-12-22 11:51:00)
Yeah... misfire continued. I went down to jeep, ordered an injector, 15 minutes later and $72, swapped it out had it running, cleared the codes on the ecu and runs like new. Cylinder #4, (passenger bank, middle), from running crap gas... the injector was totally clogged.

I don't remember them making a military version of the CJ3B, but I've been out of Jeeps for a while. I actually learned how to work on cars rebuilding a M38-A1 with my Dad. Old flatties are so cool!

Does it have a single coilpack or individual on each spark plug? Could be the spark plug not getting any spark.
