if it is 1 and 6 it is the coil pack for sure. Pull it out and take a look, see if there is any cracking in the casing.

Bypassing the alarm is like cutting a couple wires and connecting them... not too hard. Sounds like a pretty good price - and you have new tools to play with

There is a dimple in the clutch fork, get the slave cylinder piston close to it and then bolt it up. It will be under some pressure and the bolts are a little long so have some patience and crank it up

since I have no reply I will try to explain my problem better! I want to know what the slave cylinder is doing exactly because I remove it from the transmission when I remove the engine/trans to a chain job and now it won't go into place. I search but on diy or stuff like that they explain how to bleed it (I don't need to) but when it's time to reinstall they says do it in reverse. I suppose ...

Is the for you 90 gli? If so unless you have plus suspension you should be using your stock axles. Vr6 axles on stock control arms will bind.

ill take care of this one guys. hes new, lets not jump on the bash wagon.. but seriously akhi, u must use the search button. these questions have been answered a gazillion times. but ill be nice. 1. hp/tq of the vr6 for your car is 172/173 respectively. 2. getting to 500 bhp (im assuming u mean to the crank), will take a lot of steps...the first 10 steps is research! then, budget, time, usage (...

did you double check the negative cable that bolts to the starter? it could be that you forgot to put it back on and it's just touching somewhere and not giving you enough power

http://forums. vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4614610 - not mine but found with a quick search and http://www.mjmautohaus.com/cat...=3638 if your only looking for rings

Keep the stock pistons and rods, replace the rings if you suspect problems. Use a MKIII headgasket, not a MKIV as it will raise your static compression ratio. Refresh the head, maybe with lightweight lifters and retainers so you can rev a little higher. Lastly, convert to OBD2 so you can run the C2 440cc software and 440cc Bosch green top injectors
