What Chip To Get ?

Let me tell you a little bit about APR and our TSI development. It's spilled into the MK6 market as the MK6 now comes with this engine. In early 2008 we were able to get our hands on several 2.0 TSI engines. Partnerships with VW were flourishing and within months of getting some of the first few 2.0 TSI's in the world, we already had two different Stage III cars for VW at SEMA. Early this year we got our hands on a MK6 GTI before...

Catch Can and TSI Engine Cover
Published (2009-12-24 12:14:00)
The VTA catch can vents ALL of the PCV gases out into the air, while the recirculation catch can pushes the gasses into the catch can where the oil molecules ar ecollected into the can, and then the gasses are pushed back into the intake. The VTA can is better for your engine, however it is not emissions legal as the EPA says that you must burn up all PCV gases within the engine. I really like the can and think it is one of the best things...

The quick searches i did, i saw a other company's having peak torque at around the same rpm as us. There are others out there with the peak TQ later in the band and some earlier. Either way your best bet is to get a ride in a Unitronic Chipped TSI and tell me what you think! The most common answer given is how smooth the power is delivered and felt throughout the band.

I wish someone started fabricating and selling just the plate that goes into the valve cover to hook the catch can up. That would make it more affordable for people like myself that can piece a catch can kit together for much less than $300+.

oh.. thanks for clearing that up.. in that case, how long until you guys get these better tsi injectors and where will they be coming from? and also, will you be offering a tune that utilizes the stock injectors? it would save both time and money, and apr has already shown that they flow enough to make pretty good power..
