I find the Verbatim's skip in mine, I use Asda's own or Tescos, and they play fine.. I guess your burining them in a audio format.. not as a data disc.. Rick

Sack the Verbatims. They never worked in my old Merc A Class, yet the Memorex ones did, they were burned exactly the same way too. I've still got the Memorex ones so I continue to use them.

I have tried all formats, wav being the industry standard. I've burnt them as slow as possible. The Cd's are Verbatim CD-R. When I put them in the player it seems to have trouble finding it, then all of a sudden jumps to the middle of a later track.

Another company manufactures the oil extractors...can't remember their name...they are well known. I have a Pela but find it's like come out of a christmas cracker. The other make which I since found and had a touchy feely of, is in my view better quality. The Pela is adequate though...

If it's on the backbox and you know someone with a welder for less than a tenner you could get it all fixed for a long time If the hole is on the pipework though then I'd look into replacing the bits tbh

Yep, happened to my 56 plate octavia vrs when it was 2 weeks out of warranty. So far SKODA have only offered 50% of cost of repair - anyone had any luck getting the full cost from them.
