Ye setup is good enough for more than daily desktop applications. PSU def not enough bro. 4890 uses 6+8pins and GTX260 needs 6+6pins to power up. At least a 650W minimum and make sure the PSU has the required pins that u need. One good offer now is ACBEL 750W modualr and 80+ @ $179. Value for money and 5 Years warranty by Corbell. 4890 is prefered I think unless u r a physicX guy then stick with ...

not too special about this thing.. it just that not many pple selling this and also the matter of price for the (simple) development you willing to throw in.
the real hard thing is the hdd management from IT perspective on the hardware failure recovery and the optimum performance to achieve with this whole bunch of hdd.

Nope, don't have, but it does make funny noise once in a while. Happened while i'm leaving the HDD outside near my table. *meow* Inside my casing bo liao, cos the fans cover the noise, haha.
I think you can disable Power managament if it's enabled.

Let's face it, almost anything stock these days sucks. Haha. If you can afford to shell out, Cowon S9 seems like a good alternative, just remember to plug in a good amp and get a good pair of cans and you're set.
