You should hand over the car and some cash to someone that is capable to do the swap. This is because you put a H-series swap in the mix as a potential easy swap to do in a civic. B is the way to go here.

Leaking oil at the solenoid might affect the crossover, but at 2000 rpms I don't see how it could do much. Sounds like a bad O2 sensor, or even fouled plugs. You just got the car so theres no telling how long its been since those things have been checked.

depending on if u goin with an all motor deal or if u want to boost...but i would say b16 which will give u short gearing and good accelration

its still kinda hard to tell from the video. Rod knock is pretty evident. You'll have a clank clank noise coming from your bottom end. What oil are you using? Could be a bad lifter. If its coming from your top end and its not the guide then i would look at the lifters next.

I had my same problem in my 03 with the 4.8 and the 4l60E. I replaced the valve body and problem solved. its not that hard to do.

Did you make sure you put all of your ground wires back on ? On a H sereis there is a ground on the side of the thermostat housing- I forgot that one time
