BuickSmith; Not to be disrespectful but I wouldn't let those cars park in my driveway. I worked one place that offered me a new Toyota truck to drive and was offered a job and a new Toyota truck another place and I told both of them that I would rather walk than drive a toyota. The only trades that I would even think about are a 65 Skylark or a good 425 nailhead. No offense, I have nothing against you having those cars or the other...

It was painted when I got it. There are small bubbles in the paint behind the rear wheel wells so there is some rust. There's no indication of being wrecked. We have a hell of a lot of rain here but we don't salt the roads so cancer is not a problem unless you get near the ocean.

Good question....its actually been tucked away for 5 years while time and money have been tight working on restoring a house.....not right to have a car this capable sitting on stands...figured it needs a new owner who has...

David, I looked at the car before you bought it and I agree, the only rust I could find was in the core support & inner fender. The 350 that came with it needs a rebuild. I also remember a decent size dent in the passenger side quarter panel. Bumpers & grill were fairly nice. Interior was pretty much shot, but it does have correct year bucket seats from a chevelle.

Car is now painted dark green, will post some pics soon.
New price of 6500.00
will include 70 gs grill, nice 70 front and rear steel bumpers, along with an unpainted fiberglass gs hood(planned on painting it flat black) and aftermarket wiring harness.

Well, as much as I hate to do it, I have been thinking about this for a long time and have made a decision. For personal reasons, I am going to sell my 1982 Buick Regal track car.
Car is a 1982 Regal with just over 15,000 original miles. This car has basically been a race car all of it's life. Absolutely not one spec of rust on the car. Car's interior was totally gutted long ago. ...

Last one I have to sell. I actually really love this car. I've had it for 8 years or so and just recently began sanding it down. There are areas that need some sandblasting, but 90% of it is sanded and ready to prime.
It was a 3 on the tree but the previous owner changed it to a floor shifter. It has headers, flowmaster exhaust and runs well. I haven't started it in a while though.

I cannot BELIEVE someone has not grabbed this car yet...you might want to
add that the interior shot is a " before" picture of the original, rusty
floor. That car would be the nicest in the country, and definitely one of
the most rare with it's (lack of) options. The factory painted top is
waaaaay cool!

I'm a little bored with my Skylark, and my race car is eating most of my budget. My car is fun, but being a mid 13 second car is much slower than I'm used to. Basic specs are as follows, I'm sure I'll forget something:
3.73 8.5 10 bolt posi rear
Tubular lower rear control arms, Global West 1 1/8" rear swaybar
Rebuilt TH350 with 10" torque converter, 34-3600 stall and external B&M cooler...

I'll add a little plug...my '65 gets the best overall mileage of my entire fleet of vehicles...even the Corvair (which is weird). I just filled up with 18 MPG mixed driving...got 19.6 on a color tour last year. Plus it's a great looking car! What else can you get for 4 grand that has almost no rust??? Is that enough of a plug?
