getting a constant knocking from the front which increases with speed,if i turn left at speed it dies down slightly then returns when straight.it was a droning mild noise to start but now this.would the wheel bearing knock if it was worn?or is it something else?all feels tight when ive checked.any help would be great

BMW E46 airbag light

BMW series 3, E46, 2003 Hello All, Just upgraded my seats/interior. After unpluging the electrics from under the seat in order to remove, i now have the airbag fault light permanently on on the dash. Is it a 'bmw can only reset it' or is there a way i can do it ? eg. disconnection of the battery for a certain period of time etc. regards red.

I had a similar problem once with a Fiat - the AA bloke who came out to the car had me turning it over, and each time it failed, he gave the starter motor a big thwack with a hammer. Turns out the problem was due to clutch dust in the starter motor, big clouds of the stuff were billowing out of it - terrific fun that was. A few months later the gearbox gave up. Cars, eh...

Can anyone please help... My 2001 ford fiesta LX, TD, 1800 is just blowing out cold air of the internal heater... awful at this time of year! : / I cannot afford to take it to a garage.. does anyone know what i can do? Thanks very much

Hi guys
Ref the problem with 406 key codes I have just returned from a trip in my 3 litre coupe and tried to go out again five mins later.... nothing from either key.
Opened drivers door manually, switched on ignition, held big button down for about five + secs, heard a faint beep and it all works!!. Repeated for second key ok.. Thanks.

i had the same problem with a peugoet .i did the same replaced glow plugs ,and it turned out to be that the starter motor was not spinning fast enough.you can try and jump start it with another battery in the morning and see if it starts better.also have your battery tested.

To get some advice you will have to give more info .i.e make of car, model,engine size ,year etc.etc.Also what is wrong with clutch and what is happening when you try to start . Then someone might answer your post .
