http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/b...ean-330ci.html learned something myself from that one, lol: "25" in "325" means 2.5 L engine. I probably should've figured that out, but I've never really thought about it before.

Engine Upgrade

aftermarket parts would only harm the engine of the car to the point that it gets too expensive, if you want more power and torque get a stock performance car-M3, M5 etc.

I think your car pre-dates the "ic" model designation. The "sport" model as I understand it is more for show than go - thicker anti-roll bars etc. no engine mods.

Replacing Struts
Published (2009-11-27 23:37:00)
I'm new to this forum and new to BMW's. I just bough a 94 318is with 54k and the left front strut is leaking so I'm going to replace both. They are the origianal factory struts. I also have a 95 325is (parts car) that has the sport supension, so I plan to swap my standard 318 springs for the 325 sport springs. The struts on the 325 are totally gone. I've done a bunch of reading of the threads on this forum and have decided...

e36 will not start
Published (2009-11-28 01:32:00)
Its Alive! The blue beast fired up and actually ran. The repair was a bit different but worked. Its late, so I will make this a three part answer with photos. The car 1995 318i that refused to start- no gas or spark. Solution? ecu and dme relay. I took apart the dme (photos later) and the entire thing was covered with dust dirt and corrosion. My computer guru neighbor suggested the trash bin. The cost of new was a little high and nothing to...

Hate to say it but the money you're going to dump into it will most likely be throwing good money after bad. With that much damage you're most likely better off stripping it maybe picking up a non wrecked project car (non runner from someone cheap) and rebuilding that car followed by either scrapping the rest or making a nice new lawn ornament/planter out of it. I totally understand being ...

are you ingaging the starter when you are looking for power at the fuel pump? the pump only runs for 5 sec.and then will not start again untill it see's the starter run. you can turn the switch off and on and it will not run the fuel pump. try just bumping the starter each time you check the pump voltage.
