Here in Tucson we have an awesome bike co-op place called Bicas that takes in old unwanted bikes and teaches people how to fix them up. Today my roommate and I were going to head down there to drop off a whole bunch of decrepit bikes that were lying around our yard, and at some point I recalled a custom road handle I saw on these forums a while back. It was made from an upside-down top tube of ...

I was going about my day to day life, when, I was stopped by a friend, well more of an aquatints. What they said to me was incredible, three unicyclists riding along Rosemary Road mere seconds away from my house? I must find these people! So, this Saturday I'm trying to meet up with all the unicyclists in the area, so far one person is definetly going, and I've asked a unicyclist that I ...

After the popular street discussion thread, I thought it would be a good idea to start something similar. Discuss anything trials: -technique -accomplishments -questions/answers (all welcome) -parts evaluation and comparison -trials courses etc. I love trials, but I fear that street is starting to become more popular.

Hi, ive had the idea for a while to cut the nubs off of the nimbus II frame , and finally got around to it. I'll be painting it sooner or later, and might bring it back into the shop to sand blast the rest of it (our schools sand blaster sucks, the sand blasted parts took around half an hour to do, along with putting it to a wire wheel to try and get most of it off before hand) Plus, the ...

I unicycled to a party tonight, because A) I wanted to get there faster than walking, and B) I was planning on drinking there, and pushing a unicycle home is much easier than pushing a Honda home. After said party, when I had imbibed some, to the point where I was obviously intoxicated, and in no shape to drive, I found I was able to freemount, bunny-hop in place, and ride significant ...

I currently have a cheap generic 20" unicycle (with 125mm cranks) that I am reasonably proficient on. I cannot do any tricks but can cycle reasonably far on it. I have good balance and am reasonably fit but find it very tiring cycling any distance. I cycled 2 miles into town today (road/pavement) and was exhausted. My real interest is cycling some distance on roads (not off-...

I have reasonably recently bought a UDC 36" Unicycle and am wanting/starting to get into longer rides and im just wondering what exactly the main purpose of handlebars are, do they: Give you something to put weight on? Help with steering? Improve posture? Look wicked? Just trying to work out whether it's worth buying one, making one, or making do without, as i haven't really had any ...
