the 4 major madhabs say music is haram.. not sure which one he follows, but it aint somethign "mainstream"! fringent/splinter "madhabs" are less known of and very grey area so i doubt that can be answered..
in the light of quran and hadeeth, its haram!

I personally find Eid a little difficult . after years of Christmas and preparations for it.. these are very quiet and usually spent alone .
I've yet to really experience a family Eid.. The last one was lovely spent at the park after prayer with friends.. there is always the element of missing family at this time of the year.. but i"m looking forward to reading what others write...
