Within a team it's usually the driver which has finished the higher in the WDC that gets the lower number. Teams are assigned two consecutive numbers based on the WCC, except for the team with the world champion driver which gets 1 and 2 regardless of were they finished in the WCC.

The entire US F1 team reminds me of the quote "speak softly and carry a big stick!" We shall have to wait and see if the car on the track will make the type of impression that will allow US F1 to soundly whack all of it's many critics. At the very least the classy Peter & Ken combo will keep there dignity and pride far above the circus that is F1! P.S. With all of the driver surprises in F1 for 2010, does US F1...
