As all economist believe the worst is yet to come, news coming out today is particularly worrisome if accurate: BBC NEWS | Business | US bank 'to fail within months' Large US bank Collapse Ahead, Says Ex-IMF Economist - FOXBusiness.com I began to think...it has been financially difficult to maintain two war fronts as it is, if indeed the banking system self-implodes by year-end...

The Peninsula On-line: Qatar's leading English Daily The new left and the greens are already openly demanding an immediate retreat. I am sad and furious, but not surprised. After we sent our units into the field for the first time in 63 years, it was only a question of time until they kill their first civilians. I don't know wether this was an accident or not, but if the ...

I've seen a lot of people over the years who've made the claim that Saddam is responsible for the US invasion of Iraq because Iraq didn't fully cooperate with the UN inspections regime. Well, that claim is completely without merit. The failure lies in the US's stated policy of regime change and the fact that the US used the UN inspections to set up a coup to overthrow Saddam. The coup failed ...

Especially the UN - which has grown into a fully corrupt system of people lining both their pockets and their friends/relatives. The UN is a complete joke, all one has to do is read through the list of countries on key councils...such as human rights. And it needs to be funded more fairly - rather than America practically funding the entire operation.

Including 60 children. First the pentagon denied that any civilians were killed, then they said "some" civilians may have been killed but still claim the strike was "legitimate." Isn't there someone with enough common sense to realize that the more civilians are killed, especially children, the more people you alienate and enrage? While George Bush criticises Russia over its invasion of Georgia, his Ethiopian proxy-army in Somalia was grinding out more carnage on the streets of Mogadishu. More than 40 civilians have been killed in the last 48 hours. On Sunday, Osman Ali Ahmed, the head of the UN Development Program in Somalia, was shot gangland style as he left a mosque after prayers. He died before reaching the ...
