With all the possible twists and turns, everyone can probably see why the simplest course is for DL to honor the spirit of the PMNW employee's contracts. Of course, there are some possible downsides that could affect some people - the example someone mentioned of a NW and DL club in the same statiion and the NW club closes. I have no idea if PMNW club employees are covered by a contract, but if so it could be that the PMNW club employees...

How did we go from talking about 744 interior mods to stinky, gross lavatory floors?? No matter the topic, so many of the discussions here end up in the toilet....hahahha

QUOTE (BABABOOY @ Dec 11 2009, 03:48 PM) I guess we shall see then. The AFA is selling us on the "scope clause" and how important it is. I mean this could blow their whole argument out of the water. Imagine that A PMDL crew working the A330 or 744. I am union contract ignorant here. Are you saying a crew can't work more than one type of aircraft? I'm sorry, please explain because I really want to...

I really hope that SOC will not effect any CBA. I like to think that DL is above using loopholes in a contract to stick it to the union employees. I know if I ran things it would not happen that way. I would be trying to get the two groups united as quickly as possible. From a management standpoint I would rather it be non union, but if it went union, so be it and move on. It just doesn't make sence to use loopholes like that when you...

He got canned from DAL and still bitter about it even tho he "says" CO is better then everything under the sun. Pretty sad if you ask me. Not surprisingly he also has a very disturbing side occupation that makes peoples skin crawl as well. Awwww don't...

I also heard this from a friend that went to the velvet thing. I understand that they came to the realization that the cost of refurbishing them and keeping them around awhile longer would be cheaper than acquiring a/c to replace them (773ER). They seem to be trying to keep cost down while building up lots of cash. Close to 6 Billion :-0

Delta is restarting SAN-HNL I think we stopped this service in the early 90's. I don't think Delta is correct when they stated that this service has been gone 20 years. Time flies lol.. I took this flight home from HNL and it was an L-1011. This service will restart in June with a 757. 5:45pm departure with an arrival at 8:45pm HNL-SAN 10:00pm departure with an arrival at 6:50am...
