Looks like our guys are starting class Monday! Whoo Hoo! Now the count down begins for the forty five days, which goes right to December 25th. Wonder how it's going to work out with the Christmas holiday?

Hi Legz520, My son has been at Fort Sill for two weeks now. He took everything that he had at MCT with him. The only thing we've had to send him was his Zune (he missed his tunes!) He bought some things before he left Camp Geiger, but mostly for entertainment or eating! He had a phone, which he has been able to use a good bit (until his charger "disappeared") There are guys with gaming systems ...

My son is in 0811 also. Lucky for him he just got RA and is home for a month. Is hoping to pick up class in August, but has a good chance of being bumped until October. He arrived on June 2

Hi Nikki, My boyfriend is currently there...he was in the July pickup so he started classes about three weeks ago. I'm not sure if this will apply to your husband or not but the waiting process is the worst to even get picked up. Guys seem to wait forever to finally start, and seem to dislike that part more than anything. He hates Oklahoma but loves classes. It is an army base and the Marine ...

My son has been there 3 weeks and just started class this week. They can have their phones to use when not on duty. As far as I know, no cable TV, but can have TV's to use with their games and movies. You can visit but make sure they get liberty to leave the base. Ask this question on the MP thread. Megan and Jessica have most of the answetrs. Susie
