While I'd say that's allot rounds. I'd also say, so what. If he paid his hard earned cash for it what's the problem. At the traffic stop I'd a said; Yeah I know its allot of ammo, but I got a deal on it at the walmart.

Never had to draw or use it personally. When I was working security, I had to draw twice in 5 years. Went to a man-beating-his-wife call where he had busted her in the head with a maglite. When I got there she was in the living room and he cam out of the bedroom with a .22 rifle and said he was going to "kill the bitch". He put it down after looking at the big hole in the end of my Glock .45. Second time was at a motel where...

A nice Sunny Day.... Sorry, Seriously, Plenty of room to spread out left to right.. 200 yards to 15 yards. Really qualified range officers. Can't offer thoughts on a indoor range, only done that once ... Too cramped, poor ventilation.

I think the look of Stag horn is just classy but so is ivory.
I would go with a wrap around that has finger serrations or with the laser grips just for the cool tactical/useful factor.
If it is a wood thing you can't beat rosewood or COCOBOLO

As long as it's not eat up with rust or not functional just leave it alone. Any refinishing of the old finish will really hurt the value.
