Fair comment Steve and my apologies repeated! I consider myself "slapped" and will make sure I don't do that again! I have to admit though that I was only trying to help and it came over a bit wrong - I see that now... Thanks for your help..

XBox RROD questions
Published (2009-12-10 00:14:00)
Hi, Sorry I could probably figure this out by Googling but there are just so many pages about the red ring of death that it's hard to make sense of them. We have an XBox that is two years old, has intermittent three-red-leds fault, we don't have proof of purchase. I've seen that home repairs might be possible, also that MS have extended the warranties to three years. But... What are our chances of getting it repaired under...

We had one that had the RROD which was repaired FOC by Microsoft without proof of purchase which then a year later devoloped the same fault again. This time they wont repair it free and want £80 to do it It took about two weeks from being collected to being delievered so quite quick. Give them a ring, they were good the first time ours got the fault.

Microsoft Outlook problems

My host server is Plusnet, and they're usually excellent. As I say, I can access my webmail. I've tried checking all the account settings in Microsoft Outlook, and when I come to send a test message, it says 'Error: send test email message. Unable to send test message. Please verify email address field'. Hmmm.

Ah, that's because you are looking in the wrong place. You print mailing labels from the Address Book. Open Address Book and type "label" in the search box in the Help menu. Bob's your Uncle. Also, Apple has some great tutorials for iWork on their website. Hopefully you will find what you are looking for to help you with Numbers. http://www.apple.com/iwork/tutorials/#pages
