Who is your email hosted by? Its possible whoever it is has changed their smtp server settings. However first go to Tools - Email Accounts - View or Change existing Email accounts. Make sure "your" email account is highlighted in Blue and click the Change button. Check all information in the box which appears is correct and click the "test Account Button" and see what it does.
