Generally the flu, or any illness cannot be passed through breast milk, however the antibodies she is making to fight the flu will be passed onto the baby to reduce the risk of baby catching the flu and will lessen the symptoms of the flu if her baby does end up contracting it.

Don't quote me on this as my memory isn't the best, however i am sure offering water/juice with her meal is fine and then breast as usual.

Yay for you indeed. You've really are a super boober. You got through pregnancy and are tandem feeding, it's not an easy thing to do and i'm so pleased it's all working out for you. Love the thought of N flicking the nipple away from him. Jealous of the weight loss, I reckon I need quads to make a dint in mine.

Be assured you are meeting your baby's needs through breastfeeding him, it sounds like you read him beautifully. You can't overfeed a breastfed baby at the breast (I say that because it's possible through expressed milk), he's growing at a rate which is normal for him, some are bigger than others.
