What weight do you use for front squat ? and how does this weight compare to back squats ? I ask this as I have never really done them properly before. Try ed them tonight and went up to 120kg for 8, and it felt quite heavy. I realize that this weight can go up quite a bit as I get used to doing them, but would be nice to have an idea of what weight to aim for.

The only strain at all you should ever feel would be from holding the weight inyour hands. If you did a lot of weight or reps, then when your arms are straight just before you drop under the weight and your forearms mostly should maybe feel fatigued from holding the bar, and no usage on your arms during the jerk part, are you starting with the bar at waist level or do you start from the ground...

Hi guys, Recently down the gym i have seen people performing DB fly and their for is not very good but they still seem to be lifting a small weight but when it comes to DB bench press they lift more than me with good form. Im just curious why i seem to be able to lift much more on a DB fly than them but not bench press. i currently lift 38kg DB on a bench press for 8 reps 2 sets and on...

And hoping that no one minds, here is just that question. Percentage Bodyweight is assessed as your 1RM bench press divided by bodyweight and times by 100

I'm still out in Dallas at the moment. It has been a long weekend. Scott Mendelson beat Gene Rychklak in the bench contest after repping 600 pound for 10 rep's, Flex Lewis took home his first pro win in the 202 class. Tony Freeman won the open class division. Flex tied with Johnnie Jackson for 7th place in the open. I will post some pic's once I get home. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...

As no one else has done it, I shall try to post a poll, but if it does not work then you'll just have to write it in like a normal post.
