tom: what are the chances of a training routine if you think i should start the training program in question) a general routine for everyone in the same situation as me would be ideal, then you wont get 30 people messaging you the same questions. if your too busy thats fine.

It's amazing how quickly you get used to not training at the weekend. I don't weight train, but do other things like going for a walk, going out dancing, swimming in the summer, whatever. I definitely feel and look better for having a lot more recovery time between working the same bodypart, and it has not had an adverse effect on my fitness or body fat levels so far. Because I am very sensitive to carbs I tend to have them first...

Has anybody tried this and logged it? I am really interested in it and in seeing some before and after pics. may give it a go. Currently training with phil hernon's routine.

Pre and post workout nutrition is important but so is the rest of your diet and,as such,to a degree,will dictate the choices you make for those two meals. Work out your macro/calorific requirements according to your aims,bodytype and size and go from there. Personally i like to eat about 50g carbs 30g protein 2hrs preworkout and then have a 25g protein/amino/supps shake about 20 mins ...

Go with a lower carb ppwo.You do not want to create another spike as this will only encourage fat storage. I normally have sweet potato and eggs.
