Managed to locate a couple of Stainless Nuts of eBay, they're originaly listed as for a Moto Guzzi 1000 and the come with a washer rather than a Flanged Nut. I also located a place in the USA that had Titanium Flanged Nuts for approx £33 a pair (inc p+p) here: Titanium Nuts

New tyres required.......

Still going well with the Maxis tyres here, working OK in all weathers from -2 upwards. The only times I've lost grip was a slide I had was on a diesel slick just after an exit off of a roundabout (think torrey canyon proportions, younger readers might like to google that one) .... Opened the throttle and the wheel just started spinning, that's great fun at 70ish AND at acute angle runs over some of the really thick white lines over...

Bleeding Brakes Broke?
Published (2009-12-10 13:58:00)
Hi All, Just joined the UKMOC today, so bear with me if I'm covering old ground... Am also still figuring out which way round a screwdriver works. Well, almost. I'm working on a '95 M900 that's shared most of it's life with the garden veg. Today I took a look at the brakes with a view to overhauling them. However, hearing of the "no spares" philosophy of Brembo when it comes to after-sales seals,...

Hi and welcome to the club. Don't worry about asking questions which may have been asked before, if it has usually somebody will point you to the previous thread. As to your problem. The piston, in my expierence can rotate in the caliper as its only the pressure of the fluid that stops it going back in all the way, nothing behind it to retain it. I popped the piston out by mistake on my YZF the other day but pushed it back in and checked...

I'm still more than happy with Dunlop Roadsmart, they were plenty sticky for a bit of fun in the summer, good in heavy rain and I'm not having any trouble in the present cold and damp. 3k miles so far and there is plenty of meat left. Andy

always got on with Avon Azzaro's myself, on the 750 monnie - and now the sport, as they are making them for 16" rims - higher profile than the originals though which makes for interesting handling, but on the whole no complaints for handling, wet or dry, or longevity pete

arrrgghhh! Ducati have just changed their website and taken all the parts books offline.
Just ring a dealer and ask them (RedDog are pretty close to you, failing that try Parkinsons in Colchester, or an independant... Rosso Corse or Tec-moto)

Aren't the 10 spokes forged and the 5 cast? Anyway the magnesium forged are
about 7.5Kg, aluminum forged about 10Kg, per pair obviously.
