SagePay charge £20/month (+ VAT) They are fully PCI compliant. They are responsible for handling the credit card transaction on the web. Whoever you take out your merchant account with (e.g. HBSC) are responsible for getting money from the credit card companies and holding it in your merchant account before transferring it to your real bank account. They will take off the 2.5% (or whatever). I believe that if you arrange an HSBC merchant...

Right I had loads of questions at the start and with not fully understanding what CMS system is I worked my self up into a little bit of a rant. I can see what richard was doing with his fingetips CMS system and have had a bit of a read and chat with a client as well. Anyway I am now moving forward with this company as they seem great and understanding, Thanks guys for listening to my worries and replying accordingly.

I have contacted several companies offering to sell their product and offering to pay cash for some stock, but suprised how many companies are not replying! Contacted several websites offering to pay for ads on their site but again many are not interested. Do other people find this?

Depending on what sort of wholesale you're looking for there are a lot of different sites you can try. DHgate is a Chinese supply site full of wholesalers however be careful as some Chinese dealers can be unscrupulous and scammers, although my dealings with the site have been pleasant and trouble free. I bought iPods and some unbranded mobile phones from there. TradeTang - Much like DHgate but a variation upon a theme. Esources are a...

Are you sending them to a page with the 'impulse buys' on when they click to checkout? If not, some carts offer this facility so that you can have a page along the lines of "thank you for your order, why not take a look at our special offer items before completing checkout" where they can add further items, whether they be related to the purchase or not is of course up to you.

I can see that you've added your company address to your contact us page as I suggested and that's fantastic. I would also suggest that the add your company address, company reg no and vat reg no into the footer of each and every one of your pages too. This will make it easier for potential buyers to find your details rather than forcing them to go to the Contact page (which they must navigate to the footer to find the link to anyway).

Hi, I normally do the refund in sagepay, then issue a manual invoice to the customer for the new amount.

My USP is that we will make the furniture that the customer wants to their spec without being seen as so exclusive that it will be out their price range!! So many bespoke furniture makers have lots of pretty pictures on their sites and no prices whatsoever. What doesn't work for me is discounts!! In a shop as soon as the retailer has sold the item for that price and not noticed they would not be able to take the product back - im unsure how this works on the web so cant really be any help - refund the customer and state the product is no longer in stock due to large demand as product was on offer at this low price. I would have some issues if i landed on that page: Logo - doesnt have your domain name but what i presume is your old name - going off the fact your news section says you have changed name. The news bit im just not into but thats probably more of a personal choice. Also the writing at the top, to me it seems like you may have put that for SEO, look at the big shops, they dont do that so im ...

Not heard of them before but a quick look at the delivery page raises some concerns: "We test everything before shipment. Faulty products will never be shipped out. Your product will be well-packaged and safe during shipping" Can't believe they are testing those kind of electrical items - if they do the boxes won't be sealed. Customs Duties " we will write 'Gift' on shipping ...
