Thanks for the crits; if you guys cant make out the lyrics (very understandable; often I cant even hear the lyrics from alot of my favorite metal bands LOL) they are posted with the song.

Thanks, yeah, the solo was improvised, and I know nothing about lead guitar, so I was just going with the flow really, so I never expected it to be all that great, its more like harmonizing guitar than actual lead. I'll try some reverb on the drums and see what it does.

Yeah, definitely feelin' the classical metal vibe. The riffs are all good, I love the 'swagger' they've got. The guitar tone does have a lot of mid though without much bass, which might be why Beefmo said it hurts - mid is very fatiguing on the ears! That probably is mostly to do with your mic though... If you have a few euros to spare I'd suggest looking at getting an SM57, decent quality mic for a reasonable price,...

I liked it, good riffs and melodies. But it's too short! Many good riffs come and go after only 2 or 3 repetitions. With the quality of riffs, you can easily make it longer than just 3 minutes. Especially if you decide to add vocals later...you may want it to be longer and more fleshed out. it sounds good for black metal, reminds me a lot of the production of wolves in the throne room. I dunno good job i would say.

if you had the guitars clearer it would sound fair sweet. all i seem to pick out are some pick squeals here and there but other than that the vocals are spot on. yous sound pretty sweet id definitely listen to yous.

you should do it with a backing track so that we have some sense of what the harmony is like...
The melody IMO is not very strong.
your trying to hard to be technical I think... and if your going to try hard to be technical you need to do it WITH a click. you have to be playing on time, the arpeggios did not sound on time.

Definitely Doomy, borderline drone, but not getting that stoner vibe. I liked the beginning and that heavy bit at the 1:05 mark was sweet but I wanted it to stay that heavy, so the abrupt return to the clean bit made me cry a bit inside. The whole solo/lead line thing was nice.
The vocals were bearable, which for me is a big deal, I can't stand half the doom singers. But again I wanted a ...

the riff at 1:04 absolutely is sick sounding, excellent job.
i also like the part at 1:32 with the melody, the tone is perfect.

Just listened to 3 of your songs Im very impressed. Excellent quality recordings.
Really enjoyed Thinking of You, the intro is fantasic I love the spacey clean guitar tones and the chiming harmonics at the end. Adding vocals would make this fantastic. The dirty guitar seemed a little low in the mix but that could be because of my lame speakers.

Sounds a lot like Neurosis! I thought the clean part was a tad too long. That rythym tone is pretty filthy as well man, I like it. You got some pretty good vox going on. Cool track man!

The dissonant beginning is pretty damn good. Is that you on drums? Well, whoever it is has some pretty good chops. I'd raise the rythym guitar and other parts above the drums a little bit. You could also put a bit more bass on the bass drum, it's not quite strong enough. Sounds a hell of a lot better than my mixes for sure though! Sounds alot like Neurosis without all the weird little background...
