How can I know when I need to replace the tubes in my amp? I've had my Blues Junior a little less than a year but it started making some weird popping noises the last few times I've played it, for a few seconds each time.

£400 for the guitar but that would be very top of my budget i think i mean PRS SE singlecut if that is the cheaper one? Mostly rock and punk. i will be gigging in the very near future

So which would be better if i did want to get those Plexi/JCM 800 tones? Think Gn'R, Van Halen, Wolfmother, Hendrix for the tone's I want to be able to get. I know those aren't the amps all those band use but they'll be the best i think

ok ok i know this question has already been asked but i have to ask myself. what is the best kind of amp for playing RHCP and mainly RHCP. also for playing reggae, pretty much anything but metal. my budget is pretty low because im planning on buying a new guitar also, but i have no more than $400. pleease help and tenq!

I started putting together a PA system so we could have something for when we practice. I bought a powered Behringer 800w mixer and for now, 1 JBL speaker. We got a descent mic for about $110. Everything sounds great with the volume about halfway. If we try and go louder, sometime it will produce an ear piercing squealing sound. It seems to directly correlate to volume. The mixer is about 6-7 ...

I'm thinking about buying a new Vox AC-15 with the standard speakers, not the Alnico Blues. Good tone, good buy? I have a Marshall MG250DFX right now, but got to have a tube amp. Comments, advice?
