Preflop: I reshove to be honest. In the first couple of rounds of 180 4.40, it is a total donkfest and you will be called by broadways, medium pps etc. If he has AA or KK you will have to pay it off in this stage of the tourney. I can't even begin to imagine what hand plays pre like this as it is so villain dependent so use judgement I guess. Flop: I think we have two options here...

some ppl would probably suggest a raise in the 1st place but i personally flat too. id say this is a call.

Raising 3x is better than 2x because people will fold less often to a smaller raise. You would get more responses if you didn't mention your boyfriend in your posts.

I think we got the idea, heh. Only problem I see with this is if you're playing for the flush (obviously) I wouldn't bet the turn. Doesn't make much sense to call behind villain every time, then lead out. He's almost guaranteed to call and if you don't catch the river, you're not going to be able to take the pot from him with a blank fire.

SNG grinder who's much more familiar with tough ICM calcs will probably chime in and correct me, but I think you're far enough ahead of a button steal range (especially on the bubble) that this is a good shove. Double up and you're in great shape to make a run at the top 3 where the money is much higher.

I think this is a good shove, would like to hear from others tho. We still have FE and tiny stack is on button...if he was in blinds I would fold.

Calling the flop does not look good to me. You are ahead, get more money into the pot now.
