On a Mk1 the rear winder mechanism is a screwtype wire thingy inside a coiled wire with furry bits sticking out. (that is actually true ) Very prone to rusting and seizing.

You could get a lot of the other bits made yourself, like intercooler pipework, exhaust pipe and use a cosworth intercooler, as most of the 2nd hand turbo technics stuff is now junk. When I bought my Turbo technics capri I replaced all of these parts and more as they were all worn out. Both of the DOHC Granadas I've owned ('91 & '94) had a crank sensor at the back of the engine pointing at the flywheel, doubt the sierras would be different.
