305/60/20 with 2.4 readylift?
Published (2009-12-18 20:52:00)
The 305/60/20 is 34.3 x 12.6 on a 9" wide wheel. It will work fine with a 2.4" front lift only and the correct offset wheels, but youll probably have to remove mudflaps and trim the skidplate. What wheels are you planning on putting these on? If youre doing the stockers, 20 x 8 +60, I wouldnt recommend it as the tires are too wide for the wheels.

Coal, I used to live up north for 20 years, lived through many winter storms and the Sequoia has done fairly well throughout those times. I was just curious if anyone had any experience with these particular tires and thier performance in the snow (used to run the Bridgetone Revo's during the winter) and if the snow could damage the Enkei wheels.

Looks like it was posted a while back... wondering if you went with Scorpions STR or not?
I bought a set for my 03 Tundra about 4 years ago and long story, short, I put on about 30k miles on them and they are impossible to drive on wet roads w/o any weight in the bed, let alone snow. Granted I am a "spirited" driver, but nothing crazy. The tread is is down to about 15%. I would not buy ...

best thing to do is to have them test fit. i am looking at the same size and a 295/60-20 for my sequoia with the bilstein 5100 levelers.
if they don't fit, a 275/65-20 is about the same height, but a little narrower and will probably work

You should be fine removing both sets of mudflaps.

Just wondering what the minimum wheel size can be an 04 DC 4x4. They come with 17s, 4wheelparts says the minimum is 17, but I know tons of people on here running 16s, is that with 4x4 though? Icon's site recommends 285/70/16 for use with their replacement c/o. And a rim with 4.5in backspacing. will this setup rub on the UCA? I don't care about ...

you wont fit 35s without a TON of trimming.... you'll have to trim some even for 33s. You may end up having to go 285/70/r17. which is just under a 33. if you do with a 33, go with a 10.5 width not a 12.5
EDIT: a 35 will fit, just be preparred to take out all the inner fender stuff, pound down body seams and probably have to pound the firewall in at some places.

OK, it is NOW TIME!!!
I am sick of sliding in the rain from take off and hydroplaning...Bumping this thread to see if I can get some input on both the Dura Grappler and the Cooper Zeon LTZ.
I have a 2008 Tundra DC 4X4 with the stock 275/55/20 wheels, I do a lot of trailering and some mild off roading . I need a tire that will handle wet boat ramps, have good highway traction ...
