Yeah, that is what I am going to do. Yes it was heated. Like I said, I was very happy with it when I first unpackaged it.

Wow, that mpg loss is sh&tty. Thanks for putting up that info. I will take a look at some XL tires instead like the General's. Thank you both for your input. Who knows, maybe I won't even have to sell the 20's that came on the truck. hahahaha. Now I just have to find a better shock than the standard ones that came on it and possible a solution for the rear springs that does not include the fitment of airbags. Thanks...

Chck racing gear websites, can't remember what the website was called I got mine off. There are mulitiple types some bolt on, but you can get some that wrap around the axle and then bolt to the frame. Check it out you will see.

Update to previous post: I am returning the mirror to carpartsoutlet. The power function would only move the mirror up and down, not all four directions. The amber lens was also a different color than factory.

Great questions and it's always refreashing to see someone come on that understands what it really takes to tow properly. First, regarding the limitations of the CM. In my opinion, the CM is over rated for tow capacity. Not the ability to pull but the ability to carry the wt associated with a large trailer. My CM only has a 1310 lb carrying capacity and a large trailer with proper tonque...

Limiting straps are really the only option, unless your shocks stretch out to the max before the bags. Otherwise you will destroy your bags over time. I had a buddy with no limiting straps that went through 4 sets of rear bags before getting limiting straps all with in 1yr. I was getting about 9mpg when I towed about 6k pounds from MD to NC in september. I was doing 80 on I-95 though. But then again I have 35" tires too so I only get about 13mpg city driving anyways.
