I'm doing some fight night downtown for charity a week from tomorrow.
I'm 5'11 180, and reasonably strong in the gym for my size (dip bw+80lbs 6x, deadlift nearly 400).
The fight consists of one 3 minute round. The
boxing gloves are going to be oversized. I have been in a lot of street fights recently, but I know those don't have anything to do with boxing aside from maybe boosted ...

The wrestling thread has given me some new insight into how the
Lesnar vs Carwin match will play out. Namely, that I think the striking will determine the outcome of the match more than the wrestling. I don't see either fighter taking the other one down without inflicting some serious striking damage first. First guy to stun the other one and take him down dominates the round via top control....
