Well that line goes to the fuel filter base, there is a valve there controlling boost. You need disconect that valve from the wiring harness once running a 6NZ program. You can either run the wastegate line to your turbos compressor housing (which will most likely be needed to be drilled and tapped) or just leave the line as is, there is another hard line that goes from the head to the filter housing, get rid of that line and in its place put...

The injectors are running on the stock numbers, they had taken boost readings on the elbow of the turbo and from the inlet manifold to see how much drop it had through the aftercooler it was in spec but a little high. Already have been looking at aftercoolers we can get Dura-Lite coolers here so might look at that. Brought a new probe yesterday might fix the problem.

I've found almost all the time they don't install the engine heaters correctly to properly circulate the coolant. You have to use the highest point in the cooling system and the lowest point or else its pretty much useless. Most the time they just tap in the easiest lines and call it good. So if it were to be installed correctly im not sure how well it would work.

Not bad for a C16.Too bad you don't have somebody to push that -77 up to around zero, might cool your egt's down a little. But according to the dyno probe, your ok there too.

How about a 15 speed? The deep reduction would be nice for farm work and getting in and out the fields. Maybe a 3.90 or 3.70 gear

What happened to my mpg?

You're seeing the same thing I am. I suspect it's the blend of fuel. Ever since the winter blends have hit the market, I've noticed a serious decrease in MPG. Up to 2 mpg in some cases. I don't know what the #### is going on. I've never seen a reduction like this myself. All my gauges reflect the fall off in mpg. yes, yes I know about high winds during winter months...don't go there.

Ain't that the truth. But I am a random fueler. Don't like lines. I don't even fill all the way up if I'm not sure the price is right, or just want to be on my way. I did get suspicious. Checked it once. Tried to. MPG seemed down some. I got some pretty good info on my issue from another site. I will paste it here soon.

anyone have a problem w/ mbn turbo housings and manifolds burning center dividers? Just put my trucks 3rd turbo on including the original one in 490,000km. not acceptable. lol. It is in a winch truck in the alberta oilpatch so it does see some heavy pulling. finnning tells me common prob. Considering ecm swap. Is this worth it? thks

I have a couple of issues I was hoping someone could help me with. First, how the heck do I get a new taillight inside the freaking rubber grommet. I have tried everything possible; putting it in the grommet first, then pushing the whole thing in (not possible) and putting the grommet in place then pushing the light in (i'm afraid if I push harder, it will break the lens). 2nd, I have a 3 ...

Last quarter my mpg was 9mpg. I believed it because I drive 55, pull kinda light and I have a light truck with an M11. This quarter I got 6 1/5. Nothing has changed. I major rechecked all my figuring. I will have to have it looked at, but I was wondering if there was anything I could check that was simple, or if there's any comments. Thanks.

My truck does not have a pyrometer; I purchased one, and will install it tomorrow. Want to track exhaust temps as I start mods to the engine. The one I purchased is digital, which has a high temp alarm; the readout will begin flashing when a preset temp is reached. Just wondering what would be a good number to set it at?

Saw this truck on truckpaper and thought you guys might like it... It has a seven inch chop to the sleeper! I want to do something similar to my granddads Pete... But with the Desoto grill like the one on the Merc in the last pic... Just imagine a primer grey/black pete with all powder coated grey/black chrome parts IE: grill, boxes, mirrors, air cleaners, fuel tanks, etc with only the Desoto ...

Many of you know how bad the trucks come out of Trick My Truck with the exception of a few. One keeps catching my eye; Chill Factor. How can that guy survive in a 36in sleeper after hes used to sleeping in a 63? Has Chill Factor been sold yet? Also, where are the others? Hunter

Does a Cat have a hose between the intake and the air compressor? I know a Detroit does. It is there to feed air to the compressor under pressure to aid in speed of air pressure buildup. I have had a small split in this hose on two of my Detroits and one older Mack. They all made the same noise you describe, had very low power, and decreased fuel mileage. Check from the air compressor ...

888hp at the wheels with fan off and 843hp with fan on, i blew a coupler and was down 5psi of boost, had a pinky sized hole in it leaking boost. Still pushing 51psi. The higher the rpm the more the hp, the operator loaded it up at 1600rpm and made 856hp, then he loaded it up at 1800rpm and did 888hp. I shoulda told him to load it up at 1900-2000rpm and i bet i woulda cleared 900. Bet it ...

Since I already have a pittsburg i was wondering what the best things to do to get more power is. things that will help make the pittsburg work better. i crossed the wires on the boost sensor and the pittsburg reads 49 psi all the time and will blow lots of black smoke. not sure if i actually gained any power with that or not. at idle it will shake as i turn the levels up 7 obviously shakes the ...

Just wondering if any others have ever had an oil filter come loose, i didn't change the oil on the Kenworth, 60 series Detroit but after nearly 11 months it starts leaking, i needed to give it almost a 3/4 turn to tighten it and on our combine about a week ago it also came loose, it has a Sisu engine in it and i was the one that did the oil and filter change on it, i actually used a filter ...
