Had the same problem with idle..... injector cut-out test does not always find the problem (didnt work on mine), in cat engine news bulliten they say to contact dsn for help, if not found by cut-out test.... hope this helps.. [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link.

mine is 04 kw900l 475 525hp MBN...best i can get is 5mpg other then that its a good motor bunch of people complain about them...and also i pull oversize loads for living that makes a difference ....most of the times im 17 feet high or more and 14 wide and more...

If your company has not set a password in the ECM just go to any CAT dealer and have the road speed limit increased to what ever you want.

I have a 1997 cummins 8.3 with a holset compressor and AD-9 dryer. The dryer is purging about every 30-45 seconds. It does this whether I am parked or driving. I know I do not have any air leaks as I only lose about 5 PSI over 24 hours. A couple of other details: -The pressure in the tanks seem to stay steady at about 120psi. Coga is packing L10 power. They are C15 CATs with a whole lotta fuel and air, talking 59s flowed 300% over or some crap. Those engines last a weekend of racing and need to be rebuilt.

well im gonna try taking mufflers off when i get a chance or i might put high flow in...im pulling collers they go on gas compressors they weigh betven 28000 and 70000 it just depends ...wind is what gets me every time because of my height ...i have turbo wing on my truck but i dont think it makes difference since pull a double drop and my load is set way back so i might take it off and put it...
