I sold my trucks and started flight training in 02, worked parttime driving til I was qualified to be a commercial pilot, now I'm an unemployed pilot. If you think trucking is tough, you should see that mess!

Thats a crock of $h!t..... Just cuz I can only go 62 and some drivers are governed lower than I am or choose to drive slower than me, I dont have the right to pass? Hmmmmm..... Like I said, I could understand that if you're on a two-lane coutry highway but that makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine to make it a law that you can only pass someone if they are going a certain amount of speed below the speedlimit.

I should also mention that I am for the most part a very careful, courteous driver, but I have no patience for stupid dangerous drivers, or drivers who think they own the road, or people who tailgate and flash their highbeams at me because they think I have no right to pass, I will tap the brakes to tell him to back off, I had a 4 wheeler once who was purposly screwing around and wouldn't let me out to get around a slow truck, I started...

i once came around a left curve ~10 miles south of pagosa springs, colorado on southbound us84, and i saw that an entire herd of deer was in the road. when i saw them, i immediately said to myself, "yep, i'm gonna nail one of them, possibly two." bambi tried to outrun the truck and lost. the damage could have been much worse if i was going faster, and if the deer had been an adult . i hit it ...

I should clarify that I'm looking for anyone with experience in any new emission engines... not just the 2007 ones but also the ones that were introduced in 2004/2005 model year trucks to meet the 2004 emission standards. I'm also interested in any engine model/manufacturer (the ones I listed were just examples). Thanks in advance! Great forum!
