To all out there who move the Freight, Rand McNally wishes each and everyone of you and your family's a Merry Christmas. Be safe out on the roads if you are driving over the holiday's. If you happen to need RM support I will be on the forum over the holiday's. Pass that on if someone needs support and does not visit this thread. Thanks, Mark

I agree and have used mine for few months now also in downtown Boston and NYC and has not put me on a non-truck route yet unlike the Garmin 465t i had before that tried putting me under a few low bridges! im happy that when there is an issue they work on it and fix it with free updates. besides what gps doesn't need internet to upgrade??

can't you add something on the dish net work? or one of the net works, that will let you use your home setup on the road? kind of like if you have it at home and have a vac. home at the beach you can turn it on ther for like 10.00 or so extra.

I won’t hold my breath that it will work any better than all the others at truck routing and so for none of them have been able to do it reliably. No problem…it only cost $500 to find out.

I found the co-pilot live for the magellan roadmate 1470 at best buy. It was the last one in the store when I got it, but I imagine its available online as well. Its a gift for my dad, so I guess we'll see how it works when he's back on the road monday.

Me and the newbie trucker bf are looking for a GPS for the truck. I've been looking at different ones and it seems like most truckers (who have a GPS) have and like the Garmin Nuvi. The PC miller gets so-so reviews from what I've seen and it seems like everyone had high hopes for the World Nav that are falling quickly due to too many electronic bugs. I know that many truckers think a GPS is a ...

Flat panel? The durability in a truck would be suspect. Look for the sales at Wal-mart and grab something cheap.

XBOX is the most versatile for gaming, and you have the better online experience. The only real thing the PS3 has going for it is the built-in blu Ray which is really all mine gets used for. Gran Turismo is the only game really exclusive to the PS3 I'll be getting, but Forza is just as good on the XBOX.
