I know, this will be our 5th visit to sharm i love it, i dont normally take much notice of the odd bad review but this hotels reviews are all bad! Oh well i need to lose some weight.....lol

Sorry for the typo that should have read 35EGP not 350EGP for the taxi from Aqua Blu to Naama (ie £3.50) but as mentioned earlier go to reception & they have a price list for all popular destinations.

Hi Lilblondie, Have a look at the tips thread at the top of the forum: tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g297555-i9225-k2… It has a section on clubbing/nightlife. I'm a bit past clubbing (lol) but I'm pretty sure there will be an RnB night at Pacha. I reckon you would also like the Camel Bar roof terrace, but drinks are expensive!! Have fun! MM x

There is a jetty which is owned by the Coral Sea Imperial but can be used if staying at the Coral Sea Resort there are steps at the end so really easy to get into the sea from it. There is a much longer jetty a few hotels along which people were using also. The water is pretty shallow for quite a way out but people were snorkeling and were saying that they were seeing quite a bit despite the shallow water. Only reason we didn’t snorkel off...

thank you nadia , i was simply appauled that a british visitor to sharm would actually reply to a ( first time ) poster from denmark with that sort of attutude . i can only hope that the OP is not completely put off by that crass remark & will continue to ( attempt ) use our , normally very civilised , forum to gain the information they need to plan their trip . thanks again for the backing , kathy

You might find lion-fish, especially under floating jetties, but don't wory they will not chase you!!
I find that they swim away if you go near them, as do most fish.
You should also be aware of stone fish who live on the sea bed:

Don't worry though, they are very rare! I hav never seen one.
