Speedboat from Angaga to Mirihi

the mirihi speedboat will pick you up .. just let anthony at mirihi know. they do it all the time. the speedboat is something like 90$ an hour .. i think there is a set price to/from angaga but am not totally sure. again .. ask anthony - he will tell you to the penny. you'll take the seaplane to angaga and back to male from mirihi. the reception people at both resorts will take care of that for you. you can not set up the seaplane...

Let's make this the main thread. Variety/quality/service all important. Also we could rate resort's with AI, since most of them are buffet style.

Not been to Baros, but of you choose one of the other 2 they are 'sister islands' which means you can visit each other's island on regular free boat transfer (every 2 hours); we stayed on Ihuru this March for 2 weeks and visited and had a meal on Banyan Tree; based on that differences:
Angsana , smaller, more intimate feel, snorkelling better, much closer to beach, slightly more ...

You can get reception for mobile phone, but why???? Your on your jollies.
There will be a telly but again why??? You are on your jollies in paradise.
Prices, depend on how much ...

i would always and under any circumstances avoid moving islands - especially for just a couple of nights. you loose a LOT of time trecking between islands and you are not "seeing more of the maldives" .. you are just getting a glimpse of another resort. the scenery pretty remains the same. you can easily manage to miss out on interesting excursions, diving, entertainment , events in ...

Hello jo-24679
We went once in 2001. I can't sit still for 5 min and my husband is very pale skinned ( almost blue!) also 1st time I went I got E-coli (not an island that is still open so no worries) anyway that didn't put me off and been now 10 times and back in Feb 2010. It annoys me when people say they don't want to go because they will get bored.
I have not ...

Hi jumbo
Can't say for sure but all the islands we have been to in the past have jackets in the rooms you can use, or on the boats when doing snorkeling trips, you can also get them from the dive centre, depth of water inside reefs tends to be very shallow, out side the reef and into the "blue" bottomless, don't be put of though. All the places you have visited are not a patch ...
