Hi Alisi Heavens no, I am a woman and would happily walk about KL day and night. Ok, I would not walk down dark alleys etc, which is the sort of thing you would not do anywhere in the world, but stick to well light touristy and populated areas, and enjoy places like Bukit Bintang!! KL is safe, I have never felt threatened or unsafe, and certainly have never felt it was dangerous for me. As you are arriving into LCCT at 20:20, it will be...

Interesting, keep that coming in!!! sunshine, i watched the National geographic documentary about the building of the twin towers. Some parts were good, but I cannot help but notice some kind of anti-malaysian and anti-mahathirism in many many parts of the documentary, when they interviewed those non-malaysian guys that were involved in the project. …aol.co.uk/video-detail/…2811405437 mozarella, didn't know about the hitman fact,...

Istana and Crowne Plaza are basically just 200 metres apart and they share the same monorail station. Prince Hotel is also in the same area. Location-wise all three have equal access to the Bukit Bintang area though Prince Hotel is slightly further from a monorail/LRT station. I can't comment much on the level of service.

Agreed with the rest, not worth going. Perhaps you can spend the time to re-visit some places which you like or shopping for the "should have bought it yesterday" stuff.

You may find that a good amount of chilli will help fight off any "bugs" that may be in the food. :) As everyone has said, just follow standard hygene rules for yourself and enjoy the flavours Malaysia has to offer. If you worry toooo much about the food you are eating you may make yourself sick from the worry and not from the food itself. Enjoy!

Hi Chinatown (Petaling Street) has lot of choices when it comes to local food at both day and night. Most of them have been operating for decades. Please read this link for more information tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g298570-i7008-k274… There is a morning wet market at Chinatown too (if you are interested to check out how a local wet market is). I know this isn't the question you asked - but, it is worth considering 'Sarang Galloway' or 'Sarang Mas'. Both are converted 1920's colonial terrace houses in the Bukit Bintang area. (rated no 1 on TA speciality/B&B). We stayed there a few weeks ago in Sarang Galloway. We were two families total of four adults and four children. It is a four bedroom with a large living area ...

How much to spend depend on the level of luxury you want. Food can be from RM10 to RM100 per person per meal. Do bring around RM300 - RM500 (since there is 5 of you) when you arrive to pay for taxi and some refreshment in the airport. Once you get to town, you can use ATM to withdraw or change AUD to RM. Pls read thru other postings here cos your question had been...

I have nothing to add but to agree with TMitch. Although, just a slight clarification, Shangri La have the club rooms on the higher floors, but the Horizon club lounge is on the lower floor(1st Floor). A bit weird. But you do get the Towers view on the Club Premier room if you ask for it. Its sister's property Traders will have the best view of Twin Towers as mentioned as it enjoys the ...
