I'm glad you had a good trip. The weather temps you had were great! Isn't it a downer when you have to leave that piece of paradise? I stay in a funk for weeks each time we have to come back home myself. punz

The nearly new greyhound track is a great facility and has dog racing and a very nice looking poker room. Lots of free parking, a shuttle if you park at the back, which really isn't too far away from the building. A nice restaurant and snack foods.

Thank you Bluzin, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I Googled for days and didn't find much at all in the way of events calendars and very few of the bar websites I looked at had December events listed yet. I'm looking forward to sipping more than a few at Carribean Jacks!

Do yourself a favor and check E*bay for timeshare costs prior to attending any timeshare presentations.... Spa at 2700 N - Daytona Beach Resort is a short walk for you... Beach Bucket for breakfast, another short walk north... Berties for breakfast -- across street in Bell Aire Plaza..... You are by several restaurants -- Julians - Barnacles - Charly Horse - Stonewood - BoneFish.... I would not recommend Morrisons buffet across street -- What...

Your post made me feel like I was there, I love that beach so much. Wow, that was a super deal on the lobster! Have you tried Zeno's ice cream yet? It is to die for. It is on Main St. right before you go around the corner at the Boardwalk.. I'll be looking forward to your next post. By the way, is this your first trip to DB?

Shuttle launch is scheduled Nov 12, be out on the beach for that or make the drive to Titusville and view it closeer. Not to many left.

you might try the area of New Smyrna Beach. Much quieter than Daytona, but close by
