I've requested 17 or 24, top floor as well.
Ademir told me in an email those 2 buildings are the best locations on the resort. I'm sure you'll be fine in either one.

They are screening all over Cuba at the moment. When you land at the airport the have a machine which checks for anyone with a
high temperature, if you are pulled aside they then ask questions in regard to your health and any recent illness. Should not be a problem unless you are sweating buckets when you arrive!

Some of the tour providers in Canada have twin center holidays. A few nights in Havana with free transfer to Varadero for another few nights on the beach.
I believe Virgin has similar offerings from Great Britain. I don't think that
Cayo Coco is much of an advantage over Guardalavaca or Varadero.
Varadero has a wide range of resorts which would cater to any taste...

I just got back from
Tryp yesterday. I saw only one jelly fish and that was washed up on the beach. Didn't see any at all when I was swimming. As for mosquitoes...........lots of them but I used Deep Woods Off and that seemed to work.
