I would recommend you take an item of long sleeved clothing as the temperature can drop in the evening. Daytime temperatures should be warm but sometimes the wind can be quite strong.

Best Spring Break Resort?
Published (2009-12-02 22:07:00)
I wish that I had permission to recount the horror story of a family whose daughter went to Cuba on March Break last year. If they could take it all back, they would … including their naïveté that the tour operator was providing responsible chaperones. Don’t fool yourselves, parents or students. There are deaths every year in Cuba, most related to alcohol. They are rarely publicized.

They have something that resembles ketchup and mustard, but it's probably not what you are used to. We brought our own ketchup. We also brought coffee whitener, coffee and peanut butter.

reserving palapas
Published (2009-11-29 14:49:00)
Just a quick one. Why do we not share the palapas? When it id my hubby and I we have often called over people to come under the shade to be greeted with a no thank you. We are not saying come under and be our best friends, just share some shade. We do that at the meal table as well, If we are seated at a table for 4, by the staff, we ask others to join if seats are short. It does not hurt to share!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Poupoun, I am going to Blue Bay in 10 days and was wondering if you could tell me a couple of things: have you been to the disco at Blue Bay and beach party at Oasis (next door)? How are they? Many thanks :) Edited: 9:55 am, yesterday

Hey makin my way
While I sympathize with your situation they, the tour op, is fully within their rights to change, alter, or even cancel the flight, vacation. Although I agree with you about customer service you actually got to talk to someone. Many don't. The phrase that you recieved "take it or leae it" in my opinion wasn't warranted by there rep. As for compensation only I...

For the sake of all the families and older couples that travel to Cuba, my suggestion would be Mexico.

1- The 25CUC is only when you leave, not when you arrive.
2- The Cubans can use CUC ( Convertible peso) and CUP (cuban peso or moneda nacional) without problem. Tourists should tip in CUC. Don't tip in US and don't even bring it to Cuba as there is a 10% penalty for exchanging it.
If you look at the top right side of your screen, you will find 2 excellent post about...

Veeeerrrry sloooooow dial-up only. No facilities to use your own laptop on the Internet so no WiFi of course. If the email has any big attachments she could have trouble downloading them.
If this is super important she might wish to arrange someone at home to check her email and call her directly with anything crucial.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Terry

Doubt you will be able to buy a Christmas tree unless you take a trip to into Moron. You certainly won't be able to buy lights.

1. 25CUC per person
2. The value of the CUC is based on the value of the US dollar, plus 8%, plus fees for changing it, so about 11% all togheter.. You can have an up to date rate on this site: www. banco-metropolitano.com
3. I hope someone will be able to help you with this one.

I agree with Kent 100%. I was there Nov. 5-12 and the hotel shouldn't be getting the bad reviews it has been getting. Most of these come from " Always bitchin Brits". I'm from Saskatchewan and I don't smoke and I'm not redneck.
