My bad. It's true, file transfer to Gtalk client it does not work. I was getting file transfer to Astra client via GTalk connection.

One other problem:
The scroll bar in the contact list is so small, especially when using a laptop touchpad. It really becomes annoying so please make it wider/bigger in the next version. Also, please make a way to increase size of display pictures in message windows(unless someone can tell me how to). These two features are essential for and probably other users.

Preferences -> Chat and uncheck "Mark Chapters by time duration"

And here is the default skin Cordonata in german. Its the version of build 57.
Unzip the attached file in the skin folder in astra program folder (i.e. C:\Programme\ Trillian Astra 4\skins). The unzip create a folder "Cordonata_German".

I have multiple different types of email: yahoo, aol, hotmail, gmail - and would like to know which kind of mail arrives so I can do different things (loop a different alert tone, not have to check all the different subsystems). Put simply.
Trillian in its' current form is too difficult to use.
I'm not a geek, don't want to become one and don't care for all the reasons why things are how they are.
All I'm asking is for a more intuitive approach to the whole thing, when you ask for money I should be able to expect it to be easy to use that I can log in as invisible in yahoo without having to log into astra ...

Why can't you set a global message?
Just click the text on your contact list where it says "ONLINE" and type. That will change your global message.
If you want to be away AND have a message, then instead click the trillian icon to the left of the "ONLINE" text and pick "away" then immediately type your message and hit enter.

Voice Chat = 4.1 (or technically later, but likely 4.1)
GoogleTalk file transfers must have also been removed it looks like... I don't have the ability to do them either, but it could depend what the other person is using for a client, as I am sure those logged in through Gmail only could not receive them.

The latest version of a language pack is downloaded automatically when you select it from the list within Astra. But those packs are maintained by the developers and they're usually a bit outdated compared to the corresponding Wiki page. So it's up to the devs, whenever they decide to update the downloadable language packs, you'll get one. At the moment the downloadable files are still from 4.0....
