Have you tried/used the new weather plugin for Astra? It is called Yahoo Weather and it blows away the old plugins because it actually works.

Hm, issue fixed. I had to set no proxy but keep configured server and port. Some fixes by Trillian team aren't fixes at all i think edit: It doesn't work always this way. When I am connected to my work via VPN, it works like this, but when I am connected directly to network in my work, it doesn't work.

With Trillian closed, go to trillian folder in "application data", locate the file "astra.ini" and find the line "Use Local Contacts=0" and change with "Use Local Contacts=1". Then open the files named "buddies.xml" and delete all the parts related to "weather widget". Start "trillian", it should work.

When it disconnects, does it give an error in the aol status window (Orange dot in contact list -> show status window)? Does it only happen if you have multiple accounts signed on? Thanks!

Even though it's a well-known fact that the weather widget sucks pretty hard (if you'd searched you'd have seen). It would be nice in the future if you provide more information about your setup... No one can help you if you say that something crashes if you don't provide build number, operating system, plugins used, etc. Either way, yes, the weather widget is buggy it causes lots of problems ...

Preferences > Chat > Miscellaneous Options (at the bottom) Check the box that says 'Open links in a new browser window'. That should do the trick.

I found out that when i set the proxy for each account separately and don't use "use default proxy setting" which is configured in Advanced Preferences, i am able to connect also to GTalk. However this doesn't work for Astra account. Also noticed, that even though i set port for proxy during logon screen, it is missing in Connection Settings once Trillian starts up.
