Never done the breakfast run, despite the start/finish being a whole 50yards from home, maybe next year... And whilst I do think the events are expensive, they are well run, and pleased he's doing more multisport events these days rather than simply running taking away from the many good runs put on by local running clubs. Although many of those are also extremely well run too. Don't begrudge the guy his success at all.

new year's resolutions
Published (2009-11-26 17:27:00)
I don't make New Year resolutions any more. I SHATTERED THEM ALL So I resolved not to make any more resolutions. Instead I make changes to my lifestyle. Some are easy and some are tough. So far the toughest is to Get out of my nice warm bed, do a 10minute warm-up jog round-the-block and go into my home gym to do my strength/endurance work. Perhaps, the 'new' stepping run will be easier. Stepping Run?. My home town has some old...

Last year I did some mega sessions that put me down for a couple of days after and I reckon it did me more harm than good on race day. 2. Make the hard stuff like intervals really hard, but the easy stuff really easy. Too much training in the middle last year. 3. Do swimming...

Hi Guys, I'm in the process of looking at races for next year. The thought is nagging at me to perhaps go long distance. From those of you that have "Gone Long", what are the biggest challenges in training and what were the most valuable resources you had? Justin

Hi guys its been a while since i've posted anything on here. I just wanted to canvas abit of opinion on peoples thoughts and use of their own triathlon clubs. The reason I ask is that having moved out of the big smoke back to my Cornish roots I decided to start taking my training abit more seriously, as part of this I decided to join my local cycle/triathlon club.
