Deep Space Nine was captured by the Dominion in "Call to Arms," the 26th episode of the fifth seaon, and retaken by the allies in "Sacrifice of Angels" (6x06). The first Defiant was destroyed in the Second Battle of Chin'toka where the allied forces recaptured the system. That was in "The Changing Face of Evil" (5x20) (the one where the Breen attacked Earth). It was replaced by the Sao Paolo ...

Darned if I know. I always thought it was odd. Though I seem to remember some interview stating that they avoided putting in Sovereigns because if any blew up, people might think it was the Enterprise-E. Of course, they could have gotten around that by making the name very clear on screen, but then that would detract from the overall action.

[center][/center]Can anyone out there tell me which coupleof epidsodes in deep space nine, that has Sisko teaching his son the game of baseball. i know it is not the epidsode, "take me out to the holosuite" i certainly will apreciate any help from all who are willing to respond. thank you strike

Yeah, that was a poignant scene. I thought it was one of the more remeberable of the series.
