Yes i'm serious. and about a visa, I don't think it's really a big deal. One of my friends works at Nepali Embassy in DC. I've worked with many Americans & Europians who visited Nepal as a voluneter worker or as a tourist, and couple of them stayed at my place. Actually i work for a reputed travel agency in Kathmandu ( head-office ). And I never been to USA. ( Dream Destination )

Poll of the Week: Airport Food
Published (2009-12-16 17:10:00)
I voted for "Whatever looks tasty" (because airport calories don't count) but also for "It depends how much time I have." When I fly from Miami, I always try to get there early enough to sit down for a good Cuban sandwich....

When you're stuck at the airport waiting for a flight, what kind of food do you look for? Vote in our poll!

Poll of the Week: Airport Food

I voted for a bunch of these. The nirvana of airport food would be something healthy, cheap AND quick, but good luck finding that.

Having made dozens of trades all over the world and founded two important additions to the home exchange community, neither of which are home exchange clubs ( KnowYourTrade.com , CHECtravel.com ), I thank you for your interest in home exchange and spreading the word. I would have to comment with the addition of CHECtravel that unless one has money to burn or doesn’t have a ...

I travel very frequently and my hotel is my home for those nights I am away. I never just book any old hotel but deliberately choose one where my expectations are met. A hotel must have a signature or personality. I stay in hotels which offer me a feeling of coming back to a familiar place with excellent service. Hotel amenities among other, are those extras which bridge that gap between stop ...

I voted for most of these...except skiing. I have never liked skiing for some reason. But I do enjoy hiking in the winter time, especially crunching through the snow. It's so beautiful and quiet. But escaping to the Caribbean is pretty nice too!

I voted for driving -- although I AM flying the day after, but it's not for the holiday. I just happen to be going on vacation right after Thanksgiving! I hope Friday won't be too crazy at the airport....

I voted for the Kindle because I really want to try it -- but I'm too cheap to buy one for myself, and I would ONLY use it for traveling. Let's go, Santa!

Hmm, I actually voted for two seemingly contradictory things -- "the world is too big" and "if I love a place I'll go back many times." There's one beach destination that I've gone every year since I was born, and my yearly trip there is sacred. But when I'm planning my other trips for the year (usually one domestic and one international), I almost always look for someplace new to go, ...

I definately would purchase travel insurance if I was going on a cruise. The reason being you never know what might transpire while you are gone. Here are two examples: Because of weather, we were stranded at our airport for 4 hours, not able to get out of line, because we were trying to find another airline to take us to our destination. We did find another airline, and because of the time,...
