How is Puerto Vallarta?
Published (2009-12-16 11:04:00)
PV is Paradise! There really is something for everyone here. If you want quiet laid back you can find it, wild a fun party times..it's here.... The out laying towns and beaches are easy to get to by bus, so you can take a day and head up to Bucerias, or Sayulita. Or take a water taxi and go to Yalapa. Every one who comes here returns and loves it. It's not as tourist geared as Cancun, a lot more of the real mexico flavour.

I know this is a shot in the dark and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack but I'm going to give it a try - On Saturday night, Dec. 12th I meet a man in a bar in Kingston, NY. He walked in and sang a Christmas song for everyone in the bar. He was in town for business. He was tall, handsome and German. He said he lived in Mexico City and he said he worked for a "copier" company. We went to a couple of bars...

I was in Oaxaca for several days in September. While it was sad to see how much of an impact the teachers demonstration has had on the city (grafitti to the beautiful buildings, trash accumulation, etc.) I found the experience wonderful nonetheless. Many opportunities to speak with those involved in the movement, as well as the shopkeepers and innkeepers affected by it. My hotel and ...

I would like to vacation in Mexico in 2010 and I was checking out Puerto Vallarta. How is it there? Can I get out and explore the city? I don't want to be couped up in some resort hotel all day. I want to experience the local culture, restaurants, nightlife, etc.
Would this be a good choice?

I have driven there. Or mainly I just stopped by on my way to Campeche.
there isn't much in La Pesca but there are several hotels. Not likely any
of them will have a website though. Tampico is absolutly one of the most
fun towns in Mexico. If you are a guy and your heart beats you will like
Tampico.

Hello,
From Aug. 1st or so to the end of Oct. 2010, I will be moving to Mexico City to work and practice my Spanish. Does anyone know of a cheap and clean place to stay near the Plaza de La Constitucion?
Cheers,
SGMuff

Hi, I've booked a trip to GDL from July 1-8 and I've run into a fairly serious snag. I was going down to visit my ex, and since booking our personal situation has fallen apart completely, leaving me with a lovely 7 night trip booked, but no one to show me around. Gaby was the only person I knew in the city (and the entire purpose for the trip).
I don't speak much spanish (I know enough to ...
